You don't need to be flexible, coordinated or know what a spring does.

$89. Your first month at ESSE, unlimited.

Plus, come 10 times and the $89 goes towards your membership, spread across your first three months. It's credit towards membership, not cash, and only if you join.

The month is a one off. It does not roll into a membership, and there is nothing to cancel.

You've been here before.

Maybe it was a gym membership you stopped using in March. Maybe it was a class that felt like stretching with a soundtrack. Maybe you walked in somewhere, nobody said your name, and you never went back.

Or maybe you've been doing this for years, you've moved, and you're not starting again so much as looking for somewhere worth staying.

None of that was a discipline problem. You just never found a room worth turning up to.

Newbie? You don't start cold.

Most studios sell you a pass and point at a timetable. Your first class is also potentially the first time you've touched the equipment, and you spend it watching the person next to you.

We do it differently. Fifteen minutes before your first class, with the instructor who's taking it. They set the reformer up for your body and meet you where you are, rather than where a timetable assumed you'd be.

We recommend starting on the reformer first. Not a rule, but you'll get the most out of your 15 minutes there.

A month, and a head start.

01/

One month, unlimited

Reformer, Mat and Hot Mat. Come as often as you like, for a month.

02/

A fifteen-minute set-up

Before your first class, with the instructor who's taking it.

03/

Every level, same room

Ten reformers, twenty mats. You'll be next to people who started last week and people who've been here for years. We're in this together.

Come ten times and the $89 comes back.

Come ten times in your month and the $89 is credited to your membership, spread across your first three months. It applies to whichever membership you pick, and it follows you if you move up a tier.

Two things we'd rather say than have you find. It's credit against membership, not cash. And it only applies if you join.

Dual Access

$65 a week. Reformer, Mat and Hot Mat.

Reformer Only

$60 a week.

Hot Mat Only

$40 a week.

Casual classes are $30 Hot Mat, $35 Reformer. Memberships run on a three-month minimum, and the $89 month doesn't lock you into anything. We're just showing you the options now for when the time comes to pick one.

Modern movement. Progressive thinking. A space designed to meet you where you are - and inspire where you go next.

“My class on Wednesday with Mary has to be my favourite I've ever done in 5 years of Pilates. Highly highly recommend, perfect for all with a little humour to lighten your morning”

“I drive past about 15 to 20 different Pilates studios to get to ESSE, because it is like home. I don't think there are many other studios that treat you like part of their family.”

“I'd never done Pilates before and I was so nervous walking in, but the experience completely won me over. I went home straight after and bought a membership because I just felt so good, both physically and mentally, that I knew I wanted more of it.”

Stick around if it's your room

Around week three we'll chat to see how you're tracking. If you want to turn it into a membership and use that $89 credit we'll help you set it up. No surprise at the end, and no hard sell.

The month is a one off.

It does not roll into a membership, and there is nothing to cancel. If you want to keep going, joining is a separate thing you choose at the end. We'll tell you where you're up to before the month finishes, and your credit gets applied without you having to chase us for it.

Your questions, answered.

I've never done Pilates. Where do I start?

Right here. You don't need to be flexible, coordinated or know what a spring does. Tell your trainer it's your first time and we'll take it from there.

Will I be the least fit person there?

No idea. What we do know is that nobody in the room will care even if you were. Any ability level is just fine by us. You'll be surrounded by different bodies, abilities and experience levels. Our trainers give you options throughout class so you can work at the level that's right for you. Again, it's about meeting you where you are.

Hot Mat or Reformer?

Neither, they're better together, which is exactly why we offer both. Your month covers Reformer, Mat and Hot Mat.

What do I bring?

Water, a towel for Hot Mat, and grip socks for Reformer. Grip socks are mandatory, and there are always some at reception for purchase if yours don't make it out the door with you.

What if I'm running late?

Doors lock two minutes after class starts and we can't let you in after that. Don't take it personally, arrive early, get settled and have a yap with us beforehand.

Does the credit expire?

You've got 30 days after your first month finishes to join and claim it. It's a long window on purpose, and we'll remind you before it closes.

$89. One month. Come and see whether this is your room.

Booking and payment happen in our booking system. It takes about two minutes, and you pick your first class at the end.

Credit towards membership, not cash, and only if you join.
